Beet, Strawberry and Ginger Smoothie
Red! The color of love...enjoy this seasonal smoothie not only for the health beni's, but for the gorgeous color. Happy Valentine's Day!
Beets are chock full of vitamins and minerals, help purify the blood, and are a major energy booster.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 cup strawberries (must be organic), trimmed
- 1 medium beet, roughly chopped
- 1 lemon (juice)
- 2 stalks celery
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1/4 inch fresh ginger
- sprig of mint for garnish
Blend and enjoy!
